At Bloomingtails your dogs comfort is our priority, Dematting is a very painful process and in most cases the humane thing to do would be to shave the hair and start fresh. We would be more than happy to discuss with you the best possible cut for your dog that would fit your lifestyle.
You may know Bloomingtails by our gorgeous grooms and beautiful baths, but did you know we offer daycare as well?
In our Daycare area we have a conjoined indoor, outdoor area where dogs of all sizes can play together, or simply relax on our handmade doggy beds. We provide plenty of water throughout the day, but we do not feed any of our dogs unless the pet parent specifically requests it, and provides the food.
Daycare is offered during our hours of operations, Monday through Saturday 8am-5pm. You are welcome to bring your pets for a half-day (up to 5 hours) or let them have the full day (5-9 hours). A half day would only cost you $30 ($31.99 with tax) and a full day would only be $40 ($42.65 with tax) although, be aware we, we only accept cash, check, or Zelle as forms of payment.
The important requirements to keep in mind, dogs must be spayed or neutered, otherwise it may cause some aggression issues, and have up to date vaccinations against bordetella, distemper and rabies. They will be required for admission.

Deshedding is the process of removing hair from your pets undercoat. This process can actually help reduce the amount of fur your dog sheds around your home. At Bloomingtails we start by pre blowing the dead hair that your dog is already shedding, the treatment is bathing in a specially-formulated shampoo and conditioner which loosens the hair that will naturally fall out during shedding, first the shampoo, then the conditioner are massaged into the coat and allowed to sit for 10 minutes each. While the shampoo and conditioner are sitting on your dogs wet hair we also brush it to help the process have a faster and better result. The second part of the treatment takes place after the dog is fully dried. A comb with specialized teeth is used to comb out the loose hair until no more comes out. The comb does not cut or damage the dogs coat, it actually helps it to be shiny and healthy. The dog will still have a few loose hairs falling out over the course of the next 48 hrs, after that shedding will be greatly reduced if not completely eliminated.
We wet the coat thoroughly, flushing the coat and skin of foreign matter and odor causing substances. We start with the pets head and neck, and we work back to the tail, we lather the shampoo well into coat. Our shampoo is ideal for use on dry or normal skin and coats. Itʼs non-irritating, nondrying, hypoallergenic formulation which leaves the coat lustrous, soft, supple and tangle free.
Contains pyrethrins and kills fleas, lice and ticks. Conditions, deodorizes and leaves coat with a radiant sheen. This process only kills fleas on the pet's body. We highly recommend that the owners also treat their home for fleas.
