Miroslava “Miros” Ferrer was born in Mexico and raised in New York City, before moving to Morris County, NJ in 2015. She first discovered the pet grooming industry back when she was living in NYC after her English Bulldog came back incredibly dirty from a walk in the park. Eight months later, she graduated from the American Academy of Pet Grooming and has now been grooming for about 10 years.
Before opening Bloomingtails in 2022, Miros worked as a Groomer at Wash N’ Wiggle Pet Service Center for 5 years, before taking over as the Grooming Supervisor at Wash N’ Wiggle, Harding in 2017. There she successfully led and trained an amazing team, encouraging their growth, helping them hone their skills and abilities, and most importantly, fostering a culture that allowed them to truly love their jobs and customers.
Miros firmly believes that there is no one, strict approach towards grooming, as all of her customers have unique personalities, temperaments and needs. For that reason, she takes a different approach with each new customer, adapting to the needs in each situation – a skill she has honed over the years. By treating each customer as unique, she has gained experience, learned new techniques and created a successful and one-of-a-kind experience for both pets and their humans.
If you were to ask Miros what her favorite breed is, she would genuinely tell you that she couldn’t pick one; she believes the beauty of her job is that every single one of them is different, and they are all endearing in their own ways.
Danielle Perrino, has been a Groomer at Bloomingtails since it opened in January 2022, living out her childhood passion as she gets to work with animals every day.
Though she only started with Bloomingtails in 2022, Danielle has been working with Miros for over three years – starting at Wash N’ Wiggle, Harding as a Front Desk Receptionist in 2019. A little over a year ago, she expressed an interest in training to become a groomer. Since then, she has been under the training and guidance of Miros as she worked to hone her grooming skills, learn new techniques, and understand the best way to tailor her approach to each pet. Danielle was even able to attend the 2021 Grooming Expo, in Hershey, PA, an experience that allowed her to take classes to further her continued grooming education.
If you were to ask Danielle what her favorite thing about being a Groomer is, she would tell you that it’s how each day brings a new and exciting adventure. She loves working with all different types of dog breeds and sizes, and especially loves getting to know each of their unique Personalities.
Marcie Webber started working at Bloomingtails as a Front Desk Receptionist in January, 2022. She is typically the first member of the Bloomingtails team your pets will see when they walk through the door, and the last face they’ll see as they’re ready to leave, fully clean and Pampered.
Marcie began working at Bloomingtails after graduating with her B.A. from Messiah University in 2021. She couldn’t be happier than getting to work with animals all day, and getting to meet all of their wonderful, loving parents. If you were to ask Marcie what her favorite dog breed is, she would tell you that it’s constantly changing – though it’s currently a Corgi!
If you were to ask what her favorite animal is, however, you would find that it’s actually a Donkey. When she was 13 years old, a Donkey “hugged” her when she was picking out a Christmas tree at a farm with her family.
